Good day to all.
I have a dilemma here.
I tried to get MS to convert my 15 retail licenses of Office 2003 Pro, but they said no I have to buy the latest version as a VLK.
My users, especially management do not like the new office, they love their 2003.
Also, we have no problem with 2003, only the occasional document that gets sent to us as a new file format, either it being 2010 or 2013.
I would like my users to use Office 2003 as a thinapp.
How can I convert those 15 retail licenses as a single VLK?
Or can I create insall Offcie 2003 on a new Win 7 VM, and then activate it and make sure it activates and run it's updates and then finalize the thinapp creation.
Then can I take that thinapp and edit it by changing the license key to another one of my 15 keys and thin finish editing/finalizing the thinapp to be created with the other license key on it?
And keep doing this for the rest of the license keys?
Finally, I can then assign one of those thinapps to a specific user.
There has to be a solution for this, is there a way deduplicate the thinapps as well?
