currently I am working on a project which uses the VMware thinapp 4.7.3. As I am very new to this technology so I am not very much aware of the limitations of thinapp.
I have tried doing thinapp for MSDN 9.0 the .dat size is 2.3 with compression. I have seen in one of the discussion on the communities that the .dat file of more than 2 GB size does not support. I am able to install the application MSI with full UI on Win 7 64 bit OS. but it is not working with /qb! command throws the error "The system cannot open the device or file specified". I have also tried giving "MSIStreaming=0" in package.ini but it didn't work. Is there any workaround for this issue?
