I am running virtual IE8 with thindirect and this is working fine. When I redirect *.yahoo.com to IE8, the page is redirected correctly. The problem I am having is that when I try to redirect two time (think logging into a system twice as different users), i get the same session Id as validated by (http://www.w3schools.com/asp/showasp.asp?filename=demo_sessionid). I have added the -nomerge and the -noframemerging switches to the IE entry point, uncommented the IgnoreDDEMessages=1 in the package.ini, and I have added the SessionMerging key as well as the FrameMerging key to the registry and I am unable to get a new session to start on redirection. If I eliminate thindirect and just open two instances of IE8 (virtual) from the entry point shortcut, I can see that I have two different session ids. If I run:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\VMware\VMware ThinApp\ThinDirect\ThinDirectLauncher64.exe" "C:\ThinApp Applications\IE8\Internet Explorer.exe" "http://www.w3schools.com/asp/showasp.asp?filename=demo_sessionid" -Wow64
I am seeing the same thing I was seeing when using the browser to do the redirection. This is expected as this is the actual command that is run from the browser plugin.
Any help would be appreciated.
