I've got two/more websites that has different java run time requirements. One website is depenedent on older version of Java and the others need the latest version of Java runtime. So, I'm testing the thinapp package on a computer that has the latest version of Java runtime installed. I've packaged the older version of Java runtime using ThinApp 4.7 and configured the entrypoint for that package to use IE installed on the local computer. Configured the entrypoint to open that particular site automatically. So far this is working as expected.
However, if users open any other websites on that same IE window or on a different tab, it still uses the virtualized java for the other websites. Only way to bypass it is to open a new IE session window and then open other websites.This could be confusing for the users. Is there anyway I can configure the thinapp package so that only the website mentioned in the package.ini file will use the virtualized java runtime. I'm trying to avoid virtualizing both IE and Java runtime.
Could you please advise? If I didn't explain the issue properly, please let me know and I'll try to write down step-by-step on what I've done and what the issue is.
